I want an image on my address label. - watch the screencast
People want to add an image to an address label, either as a way of creating a funding sticker for envelopes, name badges for delegates, quick business cards or, in my case I use to create labels for honey jars.
To create labels in word is straightforward, and to add an image all we do is add a field code. A field code is a place holder for data in Microsoft Word and is held within {} braces.
pigeonBuild a communications strategyThe use of Social Media within the Voluntary and Community Sector is just beginning. For many organisations and people this is a worrying time with a real concern that organisations will lose control of their identity.
There is a danger that organisations, or individuals within organisations leap in without any planning and that the entry into social media is disjointed and fails.
That is not enough, you need to get people to find your website and you should make it easy for them to engage with your organisation/social enterprise on-line.
searchSearch Engine OptimisationGet your site listed in the search engines. There is apparently a black art in getting your site noticed by Google et al, but, much of it is common sense.
So you want to be top of the google rankings when people search for an organisation. But in order to be there you need know what they are searching for?
searchOf course, you know your own organisation and the area you work in. This means that your idea of search terms may not meet the expectations of your clients, colleagues or other organisations.
I have built a small Survey using www.surveymethods.com to ask - What Search Terms do you use?

There is a need for some ICT systems to help capture and report on the outcomes information. A small consortium in Warwickshire asked me as the ICT Champion to look at the options available to them and then create a shortlist of suppliers.
