High Level Business Plan - Outcome Tasks

1. To determine the current landscape of consortia contacts and establishing channels to map existing ICT related initiatives
2. To impartially signpost organisations through printed and electronic means within each region to the appropriate existing trusted local providers of the ICT support and services they request
3. To identify gaps that exist in provision of ICT support services in each region and where possible to work with the existing local infrastructure providers to share best practice and to fill these gaps.
4. To increase knowledge and understandinjg that members of sub-regional consortia have around how they can make the most efficient use of their own ICT to improve their own efficiency and that of the groups they work with.
5. To work with local infrastructure organisations and consortium members showing how they can help groups they work with use ICT more effectively
6. An Increase in the level of funding available within each region designated for the support of ICT infrastructure organisations
7. The production and adoption of a third sector regional ICT strategy in each region which is influenced and formed from the needs of the identified locally and subregional consortia plans
8. Local Infrastructure Orgainsations are able to understand new technology developments, their benefits and applications and make informed choices about how to deploy them (e.g. social media, open source software)
