Accessible PDF Files - Adobe

adobeadobeAdobe® Reader® 9 is free software you can use to read and access the information contained within PDF files. Adobe Reader 9 contains many capabilities specifically designed to make it easier for people with disabilities to read PDF files, regardless of whether the files have been optimized for accessibility. It leverages accessibility functions built into Windows® and Mac OS systems and allows adjustment of user preferences to optimize the reading experience for a variety of disabilities.

talktalkICT Champ logoICT Champ logoI found the voice a little difficult to start with but not to the point where I couldn't understand it.  The need to be able to structure the PDF to make it readable suggests that you ned to have Adobe's PDF writer software.

Definitley a step forwrd but still needs people who create pdfs to consider the accessiblity issues.
