Brief Bio

The ICT Champion is an advocacy role, the aim is to champion the effective use of ICT within the West Midlands.  The holder is a facilitator helping to

• promote local ICT initiatives within the sector
• help to develop best practice
• Provide impartial advice and support
• identify funding etc.

image of Pete Read ICT ChampionThe current holder of the ICT Champion's role is Pete Read.  Pete's background is in ICT Training in the Commercial sector. He has spect the last few years working within the voluntary sector and is the manager of IluminateICT.

IlluminateICT started as a ChangeUp project and is now becoming self sufficient.  Pete was also the interim Chief Executive of the Coventry and Warwickshire Learning Consortium durig the time of its transition to becoing a registered Charity.
